The famous son of Madrid loves getting his hands on fine art, interiors and functional design that is never merely functional, all of which is apparent on this, the new canvas for his unlimited creativity.
Dreaminess, elusiveness and a tint of the surreal all get gently tangled up in one delicate stroke defining the silhouettes of nine imaginary characters that intertwine and coexist in a beautiful composition that can be placed in any way, and any space. Color plays a major part on this creation, being small yet catalytic in its presence.
For this very special collection of indoor and outdoor rugs made of 100% pure Afghan and Australian wool, Nani Marquina introduces a Pakistani laborious handmade process, the embroidery on kilim technique where chain stitch embroidery adds texture and a soft volume that emphasizes the sinuousness of the illustration.
