For Nani Marquina, the floor has always been another place to experiment. Inspired by the creative world of her father, pioneering industrial designer Rafael Marquina, she set out to rethink the traditional rug, giving it a new role as a contemporary piece.

Her curiosity eventually took her to India, where she discovered the richness of traditional rug-making and a world of craftsmanship, color, texture, and possibility. That encounter helped shape Νanimarquina’s distinctive approach: contemporary design meets techniques and knowledge passed down through generations.
