Casalis employed an innovative tufting technique to create a 3D structured carpet that mimics the texture and appearance of moss. This way, the vision of its designer Liset van der Scheer was realised: What she wanted was to recreate the experience of wandering through a forest, and introduce it into the interior sphere. Earth is a completely eco-friendly, 100 % biodegradable carpet. All natural materials, plant-based dyes, and no synthetics led to the creation of a rug that also justifies its name, as it respects and protects the environment in a truly Earth-friendly manner.
